Advocates Announce New Funds For Immigrant Oregonians Struggling in the Pandemic Economy
Oregon Worker Relief announced a new round of financial assistance to immigrant Oregonians who have lost work due to the pandemic, but are excluded from other relief programs based on their immigration status. Affected workers can apply to receive between $625 and $2,500, depending on their situation.

Vibrant Colors, fascinating stories make Muralfest pop in TD
Day two of the Northwest Mural Fest brought a lot of vivid colors and exciting detail as 15 new murals are transforming the downtown corridor in The Dalles. Walldogs - artists and skilled sign painters were hard at it in the extreme heat on Thursday, Aug. 25, as works of art took shape and beads of sweat rolled.

Peterson surpasses 2,000-mark on PCT, pushing toward Mt. Hood, Cascade Locks
TD’s Emily Peterson continues to push on in her goal to hike the entire Pacific Crest Trail this season. She recently surpassed the 2,000-mile marker and will likely make it to Cascade Locks next week. But first a reunion with some new-old friends and some gorgeous scenery.
