The growing awareness of the worldwide climate emergency was evident on the evening of March 3rd when the City Councils of White Salmon and Mosier passed nearly identical Climate Crisis Resolutions unanimously.

The City of White Salmon will be giving away a tree seedling and free bag of bark mulch for each family, while supplies last. Trees and mulch will be available on a first come, first served basis beginning at 9:00 a.m. in Rheingarten Park at the picnic pavilion in the SE corner of the park.
