Intelligent Design: Oregon 3-Year-Old with 151 IQ Painting for Charity on his Birthday

Lawson Lundberg was thought to be speech delayed and possibly needing special education after being born 5 weeks early. Surprise! The three-year-old was recently found to have an IQ of 151. Know he wants to donate to charity by painting geographic locations in exchange for contributions to the March of Dimes, which helped him when he was born. UPDATE: Wasco County Bans Fireworks amid Heatwave

The City of Dalles is enacting a fireworks ban in the city limits through July 9 because of the historic heatwave the region is currently undergoing. Multiple cities in the region, including Hood River, are following suit. The ban will have no effect on large aerial displays permitted by the state fire marshall in both The Dalles and Hood River.

Two-vehicle Collision closed TD Bridge Temporarily

A two-vehicle collision on The Dalles Bridge stopped traffic in both directions this afternoon, Friday, June 25. Two tow truck drivers were required to untangle a jeep and pickup. The wreck was part of a wild day for emergency responders as a fire at milepost 76/77 on Interstate 84 near Rowena tied up traffic and blew huge plumes of smoke as the temperature hit 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
