FREE Disaster Movie Marathon on March 13

On March 13, 2024, the City of The Dalles and Wasco County will host a free Disaster Movie Marathon at Columbia Cinema, located at 2727 W 7th St. in The Dalles. Wonderworks Children's Museum is Reopening

After being closed since October 1, 2023, due to financial challenges, Wonderworks Children's Museum has announced that it will reopen to the public on March 27, 2024. The museum is still in search of additional donations, funding, and volunteers to help with daily operations, so the museum will be reopened in phases.

Immigrant Help Center to Open in Hood River on March 18

Hood River Latino Network and the Rural Organizing Project received the keys to open up an Immigrant Help Center (IHC) at 1406 12th St, Suite 2, in Hood River, this week. The IHC will act as a community hub and wrap around service center. Programming will include cultural events, leadership skills development, and assistance navigating mental and health services.
