The volleyball program is hosting a “Pink Out” night at Wahtonka against IMC opponent Crook County to assist in Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Games on the Wahtonka campus kick-off at 4: 00 p.m. for JV2, 5:00 p.m. for JV and 6:30 p.m. for varsity. Let’s get fans out there and WEAR PINK!!! Schultens helps keep Wheels of Hope rolling for family in tough spot

Wheels of Hope provided Tiffany McLaren and her sons a 2014 Ford Focus SE to help them meet their daily travel needs. Tiffany’s son Micah, 11 years old, has a rare vascular disease, has gone through 2 brain surgeries and has ongoing therapy appointments. Tiffany was without a vehicle and relied on others for transportation.

It’s a good day for a run

“Diego said it’s a good day for a run,” as he dashed past me on his cool-down, flashing a thumbs up. In typical understatement, the freshmen meant it was a perfect day to try to beat The Dalles’ 5k school record: 15 minutes and 35 seconds. Of 24 TDHS runners, 14 finished with season bests, and 10 with their all-time personal record.

The National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey from the CDC show that 20 people per minute experience physical violence by an intimate partner in the U.S. on average. Estimates suggest that domestic violence from an intimate partner affects everyone of all gender and sexual identities.
