Locals sound off about how they hug the Earth this week. A lot of folks really dug into this topic and brought up a lot of dirt we did not know about, and, sometimes, we really got into the weeds.
In less than an hour a class of rank Harp beginners were cranking out tunes like “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,” a free-form piece called “Medevil Drone,” “Greensleeves,” and more. The class was full - with every age group represented.

Watch for the first Cherry Fest queen at the annual parade slated for 10 a.m. in The Dalles on Saturday, April 23. Work ethic leads to some personal records for Riverhawk Tracksters as they competed on Friday in Canby. The attitude was apparently contagious as the most memorable entries were from the athletes who were just plain willing to try. And try hard.

TD City Council approved $500,000 in funding for houseless navigation center, $400,000 for Sorosis Park, purchased property to provide infrastructure and additional land for housing, heard the first presentation on an Expanded Chamber Marketing contract and landed a deal with it’s new City Manager.
