The Beautification & Tree Committee proudly honors Sharron Allen and Cameron Larson with the August Beautification Award for their outstanding garden at 412 West 2nd Place.
The Dalles Beautification and Tree Committee is pleased to announce the winner of the June 2024 Beautification Award. The honor goes to the home at 200 West Scenic Drive, recognized for its stunning transformation and exemplary garden design.
The two-story home flanked by gorgeous birch trees sports some of the largest Rhododendrons in The Dalles. Hydrangea and roses and astute detail to ground cover make this home a shaded cool oasis, especially during warm summer days when you can often find Bev and Al on the front porch talking with friends and neighbors.
Caryl Brewbaker gets wild - TD Beautification Committee takes notice. “With fewer and fewer weeds each year, the wildflowers and worthy birdseed grasses now have the freedom to return each year with little to no competition,” she said. “Hoorah!”
The couple and their family have worked diligently during the past 14 years to bring this incredible and ornate yard to fruition.
