Tygh Valley Chiropractor suspected of sexually abusing minors arrested, released
Chiropractor Andrew Houck was arrested on Friday, Nov. 15, and lodged at NORCOR jail in The Dalles after it was alleged he treated a minor which violated his release agreement on underlying charges of two counts of first-degree sex abuse of middle school girls.
Wasco County Fair: Stephens put faith in 4-H to instill responsibility and love in next gen
The Wasco County Fairgrounds will be hopping today as check-in for 4-H animals begins. Local kids have been working and learning for months in preparation for showing and selling their animals at the fair, which opens to the public on Thursday, Aug. 15 with Family Free Day. Temps are looking favorable, in the 80s the rest of the week, as the fair runs Aug. 15-18 in Tygh Valley.
Grand Jury Indicts Tygh Valley Chiropractor on sex abuse; Dr. has no comment
A Wasco County grand jury indicted local chiropractor, Andrew Houck on two counts of first-degree sex abuse on Jan. 24. CCCNews contacted Houck by phone at his business number for comment on Friday, Feb. 2. “I don’t have any comment,” he said.

Growing Crew Strengthens Containment Lines at Warm Springs fire
Cooler temperatures and higher humidity allowed firefighters to strengthen the containment lines around the S-503 Fire last night on Warm Springs Reservation. Crews have bulked up to a total of 360, and containment of the blaze has doubled in the last day.
