If you've been to Rock Creek Park in Mosier during the past six or seven months, you've probably noticed the security gate at the entrance to the park. This gate is now operational, which means that anyone wanting to drive into the park will need an access card. Access cards replace the paper passes. Good News, the cost won't change.

First Round of Seed to Supper in Sherman County a Success
If you are in Rufus or Wasco, OR this spring or summer, and notice more people out in their vegetable gardens, it may be due to the successful launch of the free Seed to Supper class in Rufus this spring! This 6-class program aimed at beginning or low-income adult gardeners was held at the Rufus Community Center (City Hall) on Monday mornings March 20th through April 2023.

Pond Skimmers at Meadows crash, burn, enjoy 64 degree day
In grand tradition, Mt. Hood Meadows held its 2023 Pond Skim contest where water from the snow melt is collected at the bottom of the hill and snowboarders and skiers attempt to hydroplane across the pond after a quick run down the hill. There was some success today and some ears filled with water. Check it out here.

HR's lone pipe organ saved, repaired, ready for debut at Riverside Com. Church
The Rodger Schock Community Organ will be introduced at a free concert open to all, featuring several acclaimed musicians, on Saturday, May 13 at 7 p.m. Prior to the concert, the community is also invited to purchase a ticket to a dinner in Riverside’s Riverview Room, prepared by Chef Kathy Watson and the Riverside kitchen team.
