A level 3 or high-risk offender's requirement to register as a sex offender has reduced from being listed indefinitely to three years after release from a confinement/treatment facility. A level 2 or moderate-risk offender’s requirement decreased from 10 to 2 years.

Dufur School teacher, Judy Ford, took home the mirror-ball trophy with her amazing performance of the cha cha to “Barbie Girl”. The event was kicked off with a performance by The Dalles Dazzling Dancers, a group of 12 local students who danced to “Try Anything’” by Shakira.
