County delays Google Vote, takes questions 

Wasco County Commissioners delayed a vote on Wednesday, March 3, on a proposed agreement with Google that could bring two new data centers and some $126 million to the local community. County Administrative Officer Tyler said the agreement might be ready by March 17, but said he would not be surprised if it took longer. “Stay tuned on that aspect.”

A new hub for food carts as well as a new bar and deli with Oregon Lottery is digging in on West Sixth Street, The Dalles. “We have loose verbal commitments for five food carts,” said Trevor Manning with Pomona Street LLC, the company behind the development. “So far we have five different cuisines that are interested.”
