The Dalles Arts Center Presents Geometry & Whimsy

The Dalles Art Center is set to host a captivating exhibition featuring the works of renowned landscape painters Myrna Anderson and Charlene Rivers. The exhibition, which explores the mid-Columbia region, promises to be a visual feast for art enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. The opening night reception will take place on Thursday, July 6th from 5 to 7 p.m., with the show running through Saturday, July 29th.

Hood River Celebrates LGBTQIA+ Community This June With Inclusive and Welcoming Pride Events

Beyond the picturesque scenery and abundant outdoor recreation, Hood River is a place that celebrates the diverse beauty of its residents and visitors. It is a community that believes in the right to live and travel freely, just as you are. In partnership with the Columbia Gorge Pride Alliance, The Next Door, and the Hood River Hotel, Visit Hood River will celebrate these rights and the LGBTQIA+ community and visitors June 2-3 with a lineup of inclusive and welcoming events at the Hood River Pride Celebration.

Coast to Coast Radio Personality George Noory performs live at Granada Theater May 27

This event will be a live version of the late-night radio show. Noory’s guests will include Travis Walton, who has the distinction of having witnesses to his alleged alien abduction in 1975. Matt Moneymaker was on the Animal Planet Channel for 10 years, and has been involved in the “Search for Bigfoot,” show, and is considered the number one person for Bigfoot lore and information.
