A new series of community classes will offer local caregivers tools to better support children who have experienced trauma, as part of a growing initiative rooted in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) — a therapeutic model designed to promote healing and trust in children from hard places.

Teens cooled off at The Dalles-Wasco County Library on Thursday evening, July 10, 2025, during a water gun and ice cream party hosted on the lower library patio.

Starting July 14th, the intersection of 12th & Thompson will be closed for demolition and ADA construction. The intersection will be closed during working hours and reopened during the night. Closures are expected to be periodic as the phases of work commence.
