We have 33 energetic carolers from Colonel Wright Elementary preparing to sing in various places in The Dalles in December. This is our 15th year of caroling, directed by Ramona Harwood, their Music Specialist.

Stormwater Sewer Upgrade on E. 10th St. and Quinton St.
The week of December 1, 2025, the City of The Dalles Public Works will work on E. 10th St. between Quinton St. and Roberts St. to replace and upgrade a stormwater sewer main. This project is part of the ongoing work on E 9th St. and Quinton St.
Serious Theater "Christmas Carol" This Weekend

On October 26, 2025 at about 10:45pm City of The Dalles Police officers were alerted to a Burglary in progress at Grocery Outlet at 1300 west 6th street. Officers responded and the suspect was gone.

Detour in Place Next Week as Paving Work Continues on W. 6th Street in The Dalles
Upon completing half of the Hostetler and W 6th St intersection with asphalt, the attached traffic control plan will be implemented. All Northbound traffic will need to detour at Snipes around the work area, making 6th St a single Southbound road between Snipes and Chenowith Loop.
