Woodland Guide presumed drowned after boat swamps in Columbia at mouth of White Salmon
The missing boater has been identified as Michael Shufeldt of Woodland, WA. Michael was not located in the vicinity of the vessel and is presumed deceased. Additional searches of the area using an underwater remotely operated vehicle, have not located Michael at this time. Shufeldt is the owner of Reel Deal Fishing Adventures.
Bargeway Pub welcomes singer-songwriter Trent Beaver tonight; Weekend loaded with great shows, great temps
“Award Winning Artist Trent Beaver is known as one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier singer-songwriters and he is playing the Bargeway Pub in TD tonight, May 12 starting at 7:00 p.m. It’s just one of many jams to happen this weekend as temps tip into the 90s calling for cutoffs, tanktops and margaritas. Housing demand and lack of inventory skyrocketing Gorge housing prices
Wasco County and the entire Columbia River Gorge are seeing a housing market like no other. Inventories are remaining at an all-time low and prices are continuing on a skyrocketing trajectory. Average prices jumped $92,200 in the four-county area - Wasco, Hood River, Skamania and Klickitat.

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality issued an air quality advisory Monday for Northeastern Oregon and the Central Columbia River Gorge due to smoke from fires in Washington, Idaho and Canada.
