Serious Theater Presents Anna Viemeister and Jeremy Griffin in Concert
Serious Theater is presenting New York opera singer Anna Viemeister and baritone Jeremy Griffin in a special concert on Sunday, June 18th at 2:00 P.M. at the Zion Lutheran Church in The Dalles (10th and Union). The program features Songs of Robert Schumann: Frauenliebe und leben, Op.42 and Dichterliebe, Op. 48.

This event will be a live version of the late-night radio show. Noory’s guests will include Travis Walton, who has the distinction of having witnesses to his alleged alien abduction in 1975. Matt Moneymaker was on the Animal Planet Channel for 10 years, and has been involved in the “Search for Bigfoot,” show, and is considered the number one person for Bigfoot lore and information.

The Dalles Art Center has hired a new executive director, Sally Johnson. Volunteering since March 2023 as interim director and leading a successful financial sustainability plan for The Dalles Art Center with the board of directors, Johnson moves into the permanent role.

The Dalles Middle School Music and Theater Department presents Disney’s Moana JR. at The Dalles Middle School on Friday and Saturday, May 12-13, 2023 and Friday and Saturday, May 19-20, 2023. The 90-minute musical adventure, designed for middle school-aged performers, is based on the 2016 Disney film Moana. The seventh and eighth grade cast and crew includes 45 students led by TDMS Music Teacher, Leslie Sullivan.
