A male wolf that wandered into Klickitat County now has a female companion. Officials say it’s the first wolf pack in the region and may soon become a breeding pair.

Comprehensive Healthcare (CHC) has notified Klickitat County officials of its intent to close its two physical sites in the county, located at 112 W Main St in Goldendale, WA and 432 Tohomish St in White Salmon, WA. No specific date for the closures was provided to the County.
White Salmon Wine Walk Draws a Crowd With Art, Wine, Music, and Shopping
Downtown White Salmon was filled with energy and excitement on May 13th, 2023, as local businesses, winemakers, and the White Salmon Arts Council joined forces to organize the White Salmon Wine Walk. Conserve Water Advisory in Effect for White Salmon, Washington April 24-28th
Starting next Monday, April 24, 2023 the city of White Salmon, Washington water system will be undergoing a critical emergency repair that requires a complete pump replacement at the Well Field. This repair means that the city will need to fully bypass pulling water supply from those associated sources. As a result, the city is asking residents to conserve water use from Monday, April 24 through Friday, April 28 to minimize the impact of the reduced water supply during this repair.

April 21st is the last day to sumbit public input on The Lower White Salmon Coalition’s Draft Vision Plan for the lowest six miles of the White Salmon River.
