The City of The Dalles announces that Davey Tree Experts, the contractor for the downtown tree project, will be replanting trees to replace those that have not survived the summer. Trees will be replanted from October 16th through October 18th.

“Our dispatchers and deputies quickly learned the crash was due to a road rage issue with another vehicle. The suspect vehicle was reported to have struck the victim's vehicle causing the victim to lose control and crash into the metal guardrail,” the Sheriff’s Office stated in a Facebook post.

Michael Shufeldt of Woodland, Wash., was found at about 9:48 am in the Columbia River approximately 1.75 miles west of where he was last seen near the mouth of the White Salmon River.
