Michael Shufeldt of Woodland, Wash., was found at about 9:48 am in the Columbia River approximately 1.75 miles west of where he was last seen near the mouth of the White Salmon River. The commercial fishing guide was the only one to perish when the wind blew up and a wave capsized his boat on Sept. 25. His six passengers were rescued.

The missing boater has been identified as Michael Shufeldt of Woodland, WA. Michael was not located in the vicinity of the vessel and is presumed deceased.
